採用LGA1366腳位Core i7 CPU及所搭配X58晶片組,雖然INTEL已推出相當長的時間,也獲得相當多的好評價,不可忽略的是它仍是最高階的個人PC平台,當然從今天開始頂級平台王座要交棒給最新的X79晶片組及最新的Sandy Bridae-E系列之CPU,包括Core i7 3960X、Core i7 3930K及Core i7 3820價格分別為美金$999、583及294,採用LGA2011接腳,TDP為130W,支援HyperThreading、內建4通道DDR3記憶體控制器及新的QPI連接介面。於2011年11月所發表32奈米製程擁有六個實體核心產品,代號Sandy Bridae-E的i7,將是目前Intel CPU產品的效能及頂尖之作,為此主機板大廠-ASUS針對主流市場也推出採用X79晶片組的P9X79 PRO主機板,本次ASUS推出P9X79 PRO,是目前ASUS在X79晶片組主流產品中擔任中堅幹部的角色,以完善的產品設計及功能,擁有包括支援Intel 6核CPU產品、支援3WAY SLI&CrossFireX、Bluetooth 3.0+HS及Extreme Engine Digi+數位供電等功能配置,在用料也是全板固態電容,整體用料不馬虎,CPU供電部份採用數位供電設計配置,網路卡部分則是因應眾多玩家們的需求採用Intel製品的82579V,另外也加入了前後共2組asmedia晶片,加上VLI USB3.0 HUB功能計提供6組USB3.0,提供最夯的USB 3.0支援能力,使用者馬上就享用USB 3.0帶來的10倍於USB2.0高速傳輸速度,另外主機板所搭配的PCH南橋晶片提供了原生的2組SATA 6Gbps連接埠,僅僅2個怎夠用所以也另外增加控制晶片提供2組SATA 6Gbps的傳輸性能外,也加入SSD 快取技術,補足原Z68平台有的智慧型快取技術,這是目前Intel X79平台所較令人詬病的原生規格之一,採用SATA 6Gbps介面的硬碟也慢慢增加,但對於未來的產品確是增加不少升級性。這片主機板屬於較一般ATX規格,也是一般人裝機接受度很高的選擇,圖形化的UEFI BIOS的設定也相當完整。以下將帶領各位了解ASUS在X79晶片組主機板產品中階產品P9X79 PRO的面貌及效能。

會偵測USB3.0裝置,如有支援UASP裝置可以選擇啟動UASP加速,如果未支援也有一般加速模式可以進行加速。
就實測而言,確實也增加部分效能增益。手邊沒有支援UASP模式加速的裝置,所以就一般加速模式來做對比。

ASUS SSD Caching技術,Intel在X79上並未導入Z68時代的iSRT技術,對有些需要這樣技術的使用者來說是種小缺憾,
雖說敗的起X79的玩家,應該多能購買大容量的SSD使用,但是以SSD作為傳統硬碟之快取也不見得不好,
能幫系統加速也是件好事,所以ASUS獨家開發SSD快取技術補上,另外更是青出於藍勝於藍。

小結:
Intel Core i7-3930K+ASUS P9X79 PRO+AMD HD7970這樣的組合效能可說是相當全面,當然所付出的價格也是相當的不........便宜(這3樣買齊大約也要接近50K,只能說嚇死人的啊!!),但整體表現絕對是物有所值,透過效能測試發現這樣的平台確實也將個人電腦的效能又推升到另外一個層次,這次ASUS也針對X79平台開發許多新技術,如全新 DIGI+ 電源控制可同時針對於 CPU 與 DRAM 的電源控制管理,主流產品即提供8 DIMM 設計,讓X79的4通道記憶體技術表現更優異,ASUS 獨家功能,華碩 SSD 快取技術,UEFI BIOS、BT GO!、USB BIOS Flashback、Fan Xpert+、USB 3.0 Boost等都是相當實用的技術,以上測試提供給各位參考,另外BIOS介面及相關應用軟體及SSD快取技術實測將於另外外一篇文章內分享,有興趣的朋友們到時可以前往參考一下。
